Set cinema seats at Miranda:

At Miranda movies they have the newer system of set seating. Which in theory is a good idea, cause it means no more stampedes in the door as people rush for the best seats but in practicality it well quite basically sucks.

They have hundred of seats to choose from yet the attendants clump everybody together in the same rows! You are literally packed in like sardines, wrestling over an armrest with a complete stranger. It’s ok if your watching an action movie or a comedy but the minute a sex scene pops up your stuck awkwardly pulling your arm away and attempting to not make eye contact with the person leaning next to you. What’s worse is when you get seated with some idiot right behind you who feels the need to talk constantly through out the movie and throw popcorn at his friends two seats in front of you! (yes I went to the movies the other day)
They say to buy your tickets online but the majority of the time I go to the movies it’s a spur of the moment decision and I, nor any of my friends have a credit candy at the ready to order them.

Haha, that's so true. I live like 2 minutes away from the Westfield in Miranda and allocated seating sucks. Sometimes we just ignore it and sit wherever we want - but that's not really good practice (what with the possibility of getting caught out by ushers). But on the other hand it is good for not rushing to your seat and I think once I bought my ticket after the movie started but was lucky enough to still get a decent seat (the movie was pretty full too).

lol so true about the sex scene thing.
